As more and more Chinese citizens get more and more stuff, they will become more and more acquisitive, this can only be good for the US. The happy policy of reducing the US dollar is already bringing about good results, I think they will allow the US dollar to drop by another 10%, increasing the price of everything imported, and scalping the value of American assets held by everyone else. This means that Americans will be forced to cut back on oil usage, and imports and buy American made goods without raising any tariffs to free trade.
The next prudent move would be to focus on rebuilding Afghanistan, and suddenly abandon Iraq. The war is being lost to the Iraqis themselves, and I think partitioning Iraq, giving the Kurds their own nation, and allowing the rest of Iraq to dissolve into civil war would allow the Syrians, the Iranians and the rest of Islam to go to war with each other. This in itself could bring about regime change in Iran.
I think the US should support the trial of the Syrians for the murder of Lebanese Politicians, and try to bring war crimes trials up against the present Syrian government.
The US should immediately announce a plan to stop all immigration for 5 years until the present problems are worked out.
The current build ups, could be better managed by moving the UN anyplace but the US. Personally I like the idea of the UN being put in Jerusalem, so that they are close to the action. |
