Very similar story, isn't it? One of my favorite themes. The man got his job heavily supported by Israel and as soon as he came up with a reasonably unbiased view on the Arab/Jewish question in general and the Palestine/Israel matter in particular, all the heavy guns were moved in place and triggered.
