hey, I know the Mabuhay. You are slightly older than me I guess. As a high schooler I wanted to go to the Mabuhay but I don't think I could get in. Anyway never made it there. I wanted to see the dead kennedys. There was some bizarre video channel out here (independent) called Video West where the punk bands were getting exposure.
