Hi Koan

Both Bill Gross and Marc Faber are saying the feds need to cut the fed funds rate by 200 basis points. That will crush the dollar.

And Cramer baby said on Friday -

(a) $80 dollar oil is GOOD for the stock market and,
(b) a WEAK DOLLAR is GOOD for the stock market.

He sees the DOW at 14549 sometime this year.

I LOVE it ...

regards,
John

Edit
There is a poster called Stan_Hughes whose out with an
interesting idea (and I am mad I didn't think of (realize)
it ...

in a nutshell ....

lets say we lower a few more times ....

Stan thinks - not far thereafter everyone will RUSH
to lower their rates (RUSH is my word not his) ....

and this will lead to a world-wide inflationary period ..

I think stans idea is valid ....

[note Stan's comment about gold]

Koan - I am saying all this against the back-drop that
the Europeans should be raising their CB rates to protect
against inflation ....

given the defacto dollar devaluation .... and to actually
HELP PROTECT the dollar .... i.e. keep it up ....

I am not certain they will ... which would leave them
in an inflationary posture ...

regards,
John
