Week 2, I did much better, my studs performed, I almost started SEA Def over NE Def...Luckly changed it the Sunday morning. I handily defeated my opponent by 30 pts, thanks to NE Def and Moss.
This week should be interesting,
I'm starting...
QB: Roethisberger over Leinart, as Ben should be decent vs SF, Matt is playing against the Ravens...tough Def. I'm a little worried about Pit wanting to run Willie til the wheels fall off. Ben already doesn't put up big yardage...maybe I need to trade for a new QB. I can probably get Eli Manning for Derrick Ward and a WR. I may do this as Jacobs is healing, and will take carries away once he is fully healthy. Although Ward reminds me of Tiki.
RB1: Frank Gore, he's a stud...thought about starting Ward here as he has a better matchup, Westbrook ran well against the skins. Gore is a stud though, if SF wants to win, they have to give him the rock.
RB2: Travis Henry is leading the NFL, I can't bench him even against the Jags. I think Lendale White might have a good game against NO. They will give him the rock and he's showing signs of life...I'm not worried about Chris Brown.
WR1: Randy Moss, is a no brainer. He'll go off against the Bills who lost a CB and Safety for the season.
WR2: Deion Branch came to life last week. He got a lot of looks and catches, just like a number 1 receiver should get. This week should be no different with the Bengals coming into town. SEA will give the ball to Alexander to slow down the offensive pace of Cin, but Cin secondary is torchable. Branch should get his.
WR3: Ronald Curry, against Cleveland he should be able to burn the corners and have another good game.
TE: Vernon Davis, Maybe this week will be his breakout week. I keep telling me this, but sooner or later it will happen. If he can become studly, my team is solid across the board. My fingers are crossed.
K: Neil Rackers, Bal def should be a tough match for Ari. Hopefully Ari can move the rock into field goal range before they stall. I'm thinking he could have a big game with his 50yd+ leg...knock on wood.
Def: Patriots Def, no brainer...they've been the stud of my team, 25 pts each week. They should shut down the Bills offense...Lynch will have a tough time running the ball, and Lee Evans should be shut down. I'm expecting another big week from them. I can't imagine how good this defense will be once Seymore and Harrison are back...yikes...I'm glad I reached to draft them.
Bench(that I haven't mentioned):
Marques Colston should have a good game, I just don't think it will be better than Curry or Branch.
Brandon Marshall might have a tough day against Jac, but I figure it'll be similar to the other weeks. I'm not expecitng a drop off, but I don't think he'll be studly this week.
Sea Def might get torched by Carson, I'm a big USC fan and Carson is a stud. I tried to trade for him last week, I should of been more agressive about the trade. After his 49 pt week, I think he's now off the market.
I'm trying to trade for another QB. The team I'm playing this week has Romo as a backup with Mc Nabb as a starter. I tried to trade for Romo but was turned down. After another loss, he'll be more open to swapping. I was offered a trade for Mc Nabb, Reggie Brown(or another WR, I don't care for his WR), Chris Brown, for Marshall and a RB...Phil offense is in a funk. I saw 1 qtr of Monday night football, and don't want to touch McNabb or Brown until they get better.
I got a couple offers for Gore. One was for Plaxico and Cadillac for Gore...tempting...I'm not sold on Cadillac. He might be willing to swap TO for Plaxico.
I offered Henry and Roethisburger for LT and Vince Young. I think Young looks decent, he's only going to get better. I'll cancel the trade request in the morning. If he is decent again this week, I'll try to trade for him straight up or make a package for him with Leinart or Ben and a WR.
Best of Luck,
