No, they did not say it would happen at once, but over the next few quarters. I took that as a given.

Faber was just saying the economics required it. I have no idea what he meant as I am not an economist.

Gross said another cut in October and then several more thereafter. Gross was very clear and sure of himself that many more cuts were on there way.

Conventional wisdom was already 75 basis points before the end of the year, but now it looks like more.

I think 72 on the dollar would be enough to push gold through a $1,000 as it would stimulate even more fear. I think gold is responding to fear right now and then specualtion will climb on the back of fear and then off to the races as they feed on each other.

That goes for the dollar as well as gold.
