Jay, I saw your asset mix in another post, and am thinking along similar lines. Problem I've got is my Canadian cash is going up faster than gold or silver, so the stocks are languishing in loonies. (There's a good name for an Off-Broadway show ,"Languishing in Loonies".) I'm 70% cash right now. I was joking on my thread how last weekend a newspaper horoscope told me not to do anything rash until after the autumnal equinox (here we are), so I sat back through the Bernanke "Put" (Put money out of the dollar) this week. The horoscope turned out to be spot on advice. Looks like sitting on that cash is called for until my government does something stupid to help the exporters. Fortunately, that's why they're the government. Hopefully, the US won't do something even more stupid in the interim. But my investing crystal ball is cloudy. You seeing anything solid emerge from the Fall mists yet? CD
