Uzi Arad
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Uzi Arad is the former Director of Intelligence for the Mossad and is currently a professor at the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya. He received a Ph.D. and M.A. at Princeton University, and is the author of a number of books on the Middle East. He has also served as a foreign policy advisor to former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

At Herzliya, Arad founded the Institute for Policy and Strategy. Among his recent work, he conducted a survey that found Israelis to be the most patriotic people in the Western World.[1] He has also been a critic of the US invasion of Iraq and former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, arguing that the energy spent there should have been shifted towards dealing with the Iranian nuclear crisis.[2]
