Always do a two-pass rip for better results (takes longer, but worth it).

do you do the first rip as "Turbo Rip"?

i am surprised at how long it took, working with 20" iMac, 2GHZ Core Duo, 2GB. i will time it next time, but my impression is it took a long time (like 30 minutes). this is for one DVD, approx 2.5hrs play time.
