All, Will CATS be impacted by UMC/UICC fire? My understanding is that the UICC fab was making Flash/memory chips. It is clear that companies with an equity stake in UMC or UICC will be alloted capacity at the cost of those that have not invested capital in the wafer fabs, does anyone know in which group CATS falls. If CATS does not have supply contracts in place with UMC than they will have to give up wafer starts to UMC equity partners. From what I have read in the last 10Q it is clear that CATS had pinned their recovery hopes on UMC 0.5u flash process. Does anyone know how this fire will impact earnings over the next few quarters?
