Thanks Jeffrey for the explanation. Is there any way we can prevent these odd lots being generated without our knowledge or control. The 65 shares I was left with have now sold so there is no problem for me at the moment but in the future I would rather sell none of a parcel of shares rather than break it up into odd lots which I may or may not be able to sell easily. I don't mind breaking up an order into 100 share lots but 35 share parcels is going a bit far.
