I thought MLB was discontinued last June after the Cubs swept the White Sox. Oh, that was just me ceasing to pay further attention. Couldn't resist and saw Eastern Promises at the actual movies last night. Did I say I thought Cruising was gory? Yikes. The good news is that Naomi Watt's lovely neck isn't slit even once in this film. Very good film, but like any of Cronenberg's, not for the faint of heart. Naomi puts in a solid performance in an understated and unglamorous role despite her wearing in much of the film an extremely shapely pair of jeans.
