Short sighted individuals measure weather changes over decades while scientists observe & formulate conclusions on climate change over centuries. Glaciers melt & refreeze over those centuries. Throughout the history of the world, there have always been hysterical people who declare that within their lifetime the world will come No one is hysterical.....this is not chicken little running around saying the sky is falling. After reading and studying a considerable amount of data, many respected scientists have concluded that there may be a strong possibility that the earth is experiencing global warming, and that Man may very well be the culprit. Assuming that that might be the case, they are suggesting we take steps to mitigate the effect and reduce our consumption of fossil fuels. In other words, they are suggesting we clean up the air. Now why are you all opposed to cleaning up the air? After all, it causes considerable damage to our lungs, to our cars, to our homes, to our infrastructure, etc. Is it possible you all could be this myopic?
