I read his speech yesterday. Of course he buys into the pal crap about the holocaust. I understand why the pals jumped on this bandwagon and why their supporters do to. If you question the moral foundation for allowing the remnants of world jewry to go bsck to israel, all that is left is the cynical west dumping their problem on the pals. Of course there was some of that too as no one wanted those bag of bones Jews in their backyard after the war---at least in large numbers. And that goes for the US too. But for the pals and iranians to sink to the level of denying the obvious, is disgusting in and of itself.
Now the real question is, what this joker believes and what is propaganda? If fatah, the saudis, jordan and egypt want peace with israel, is it impossible for iran to back this at some point as well. I think the answer is yes but there will be a price to pay. What we need is that grand bargain between persia and the US and between shiaa islam and the west. Full economic participation needs to be granted. No nukes and support for peace in the middle east along with moderation vis a vis hizbolla, and hamas. We cant have regime change. Need to treat them like we did china in the beginning. Regime will evolve into something else as economic growth kicks in. Thats my general view.
