Headlines vs. Reality? I don't know if I'm the only one who see's every store and restaurant in every shopping center- if not packed, just as busy as they've ever been? The media seems hell bent on selling 'us' on a recession. Now I've lived through more than a few, and this isn't even on the radar as far as ANY recession I've ever been through, or witnessed in my life. Nothing even close to signaling a recession yet on 'my' main street. The DOW seems to be agreeing with that, or at the worst- saying that we're going to have one of those mild 'on paper' only recessions that will already be over by the time it gets reported. That's my opinion anyway. Civil, sane and rational opinions welcome. Ron
