While I was there I took a look at the new Passat. Very sweet. I got a quote on a loaded car, with the Dynaudio sound system. It sounds incredible. FAR better than any BOSE system could ever hope to be. I asked the guy if the iPod connector was available for it. He said it was already in there. They've had those for at least a couple of years now. Of course, I already have an iPod connector on my Alpine system in the old Passat. And I'm not talking about just a port to plug in from the headphone jack. My system uses the dock connector. The iPod sits in the glove box, and I control it using the Alpine front end. The official VW iPod adapter works the same way. - Allen
