I believe that a lot of the shorting took place prior to the announcement that they found oil. Now with the size of the field unspecified but two wells generating oil, I dont think its too much of a stretch to justify the current market cap just based on the prospective oil field and areas left to be explored. I think you are justified in referring to us as retail slobs, but I wouldnt refer to this company as a turkey *S*. I could certainly see the company starting to do development deals with majors in the near future.
