In previous years it was too cold for snow or ice to reach the interior of Antarctica. It was the driest place on earth. Warming means that moisture can penetrate further before it precipitates. Of course that is just a phase as the real danger of global warming is the constant change. The weather will change faster than the organisms can adapt or migrate. TP
