So given the flight to safety on the part of more financially savvy Americans with cash, many of whom will choose to park cash in T bills rather than MM funds, is the US government able to give buying preference to Americans rather than foreign vendors? And if not, what might happen to the cash Americans hold and want to park somewhere-- foreign investments? Gold?
