Oh yes. I remember when they bought Rockfeller Plaza.

I had visions of them buying the Empire State building and installing a King Kong facsimile there.

Interesting-- and not surprising, that Tisch now owns it. I think all countries feel better when their "star" buildings are majority-owned by their own citizens.
