There were good stocks to buy and own long-term from the dot.com era; like China it was a huge new wave that still had lots of growth to come.

But figuring out which of the drastically overextended stocks will make it long-term is much harder. I am sticking with China-related stuff that sticks around valuations that make sense compared to recent performance.
