Does anyone here get charged a foreign security fee from their brokerage house? TdAmeritrade has started charging me a $15.00 security fee per trade. The agent I talked to said this is a customary fee charged by most houses. I told him prior to the merger of Waterhouse and Ameritrade I was never charged this fee. He said I probably never noticed it. I am just wondering if anyone else gets charged this fee. Many thanks.
