Voter ID card is fascism. That's why. It's Big Brother. It's against traditional conservative values too. The real reason though is that the GOP hopes to keep millions of people from voting by forcing them to jump over hurdles and go through all kinds of regulations in order to vote. Meanwhile, they want NO regulations for polluters, arms merchants, drug companies, mining companies, lobbyists, oil companies, etc. etc. etc. The rightwing has always been about supressing democracy in this country, because if enough people voted they would never-ever come close to winning any national elections.
