I think up in the NW, more people refer to San Francisco as San Fran....but SFO is an easy way to write it....

PS...Several years ago, I spent time with a newly found relative. She was working on her Doctorate at Harvard, but has 12 kids and a busy hubby, so don't think she ever finished.

BUT this smart lady, wanted to know how close we were in Seattle to San Francisco.....LOLOL!

But then Bostonians seem to think that Chicago is THE WEST too....so Seattle and San Fran must certainly be relatively close, right? heheheh
