An interesting play in the VoIP arena is, believe it or not, EMC. It is also very interesting thanks to its majority stake in VMW. Many analysts think that the EMC share price does not properly reflect the value of its stake in VMW. businessweek.com The stake is not liquid until 2009 because of tax considerations. If VMW goes to the moon as its revolutionary products suggest it might, acquiring EMC now for a LTBH until 2009 would be a very nice play since I think VMW is essentially immune to recession and bear markets due to the enormous cost savings its technology delivers. An idea for you.
