This warning only applies to normal home vacuum cleaners. The little, low-powered vacuums that are made for computers are OK. But in my experience they are ineffective, so I stick with the compressed air.

Allen,

2 problems with compressed air:

1. If in a can the propellant is cold and if sprayed on hot components well ouch.

2. If the propellant in freon well need I say more.

Best is a small air compressor then you only have noise and electric bills, but none of the temperature issues of the air or the stuff in the cans.

Best advise is don't place your system on the floor keep it at least 1 foot above carpet level.
