Jeff,
I would love to explain to you the current thinking on options but it is pretty clear to me, as it must be to you, that I have entered an extremely hostile environment where the time I might expend will not be greeted in a friendly manner. Unlike Mike, I am not on an ego trip or whatever his agenda might be. Instead of dealing with issues, or admitting he just doesn't know, he wastes time beating his chest and waiting for all the applause.
He seems to be able to snow so many people throwing irrelevant stuff around.
Can't imagine bragging about an average life span on a job of 2 years? Or that he went to Wharton. So what? I have two IVY LEAGUE degrees and I can tell you there are just as many mediocre people at those schools as anywhere else in life.
You see, options are a different ball game and if you can't start with that understanding there is nothing to discuss. For a person to state that volatility doesn't matter is the same thing as saying the price doesn't matter. All, without exception, successful traders today use some form of technical analysis. That doesn't mean that is all they use. The poeple who are too lazy to study technical analysis( it takes years)use the type of copeouts I have heard here. So easy to criticize what you don't know and can't understand.
If you are genuinely interested, there is much that could be discussed. But I am not interested in attempting to override the constant chest beating and meaningless babble. Remember, this all started because I innocently suggested some reading material.
