thats what a lot of pundits are saying, that doctors are now actually favoring MEDICARE over many private plans because the private plans have gone over the line in cost cutting. Since the Hillary plan has a single payer component as an option (you can choose the government system as a participant which is the same thing the senators get) imho that will probably win out as the best plan over time. But people are scared of a big bang to single payer and drug companies+medical lobby will fight it so this is the right approach, scale in. IMHO Eisenhowers warning "military industrial complex" really should have been "medical industrial complex" the system is completely out of control and skimming off a huge % of US GDP with no benefit to the citizenry
