... but he has done nothing to make any progress towards that goal. As long as Israel refuses to consider the possibility of enough concessions to allow a viable Palestinian state and the US refuses to pressure it to do so, there is no possible solution, and as long as there is no possible solution people will look for miracles, which can only be promised by religious radicals... Israel cannot make concessions to the palestinians until such time as the missiles stop. The last time Israel returned land to the palestinians they were firing missiles from it almost as soon as the israelis left. The palestinians are making no efforts towards making peace, and until BOTH sides want peace war will continue.
