"Secrets of Professional Pot Limit Omaha" by Rolf Slotboom is one of the best books I've ever read about cash game poker. His techniques, which will get him cussed out and called an "idiot", a "donk" or worse on every poker site in the world, are simply low risk and very practical. His short stack technique is so unbeatable that one can rarely find a big stack at an online PLO game, any more.

The title is a bit misleading. This in NOT the way most top pros play PLO. And Rolf admits that. It is the way he plays. All the guy wants to do is make money. He doesn't want the other players to call him an expert and he doesn't necessarily want to beat everyone at the table. He's happy if he just makes $2.50 on every dollar of the stack he has at risk. Guess what, I'm happy with 150% per day, too. <G>

I have modified some of his advice. I don't care if I have the shortest stack at the table. I just care if I have a stack shorter than average. He warns against that, but it works for me. And with so few full table PLO games out there, I can't afford to wait until I can can sit to the right of the most overly aggressive player at the table.

Highly recommended.
