"If he really wanted to run, there is no doubt here that the money would come in." Seems there just might be some doubt about that after all. Apparently the well ran drier then he'd hoped. (Note: Not to be disagreeable, but I watched him on several news programs recently confirming his interest in running. Just a week ago I heard him say that if he hit his 'target' of $30 M. in contributions "before the end of the year" there would be "no way" he could "turn down" such a "public demand" for him to run.) So, I think it's probably fair to guess that maybe the money pledges were just not lining up the way he hoped.... (Perhaps with so many OTHER candidates already running --- and with fund raising operations far in advance of where his nascent one was --- too many contributors were already aligned with others?)
