Consumer Reports did a survey with over 75,000 respondents that shows Apple laptops have worse reliability than Lenovo.

I really doubt Consumer Reports on this. In my experience, MacBook Pro, Intel iMac, PowerBook, iBook all here. Remote son #1 MacBook Pro, MacBook, Old G4 tower; remote son #2 MacBook.

No problems with hardware in any of them. Have had battery recalls however and a swelling battery in my MacBook Pro caused the battery power to disconnect and shut off the computer until the battery cooled down. Battery was replaced in a day.
