He's got some heavy hands and deceptively good technique, few wasted punches and always calm just walking forward. Though he didn't look really fast or flashy, once Pavlik gets an opponent hurt, he finishes them. I don't even think it was as much an accumulation of punches in this case, I think he finally just got Taylor flush and neither Taylor nor anyone else can really take Pavlik's clean punches. Taylor was doing a great job being elusive most of the fight, when a lot of Pavlik's punches connected but rarely at full extension/leverage until the final round, at least that's what I was seeing and it was very different than the way Miranda just stood there and got his face smashed in. Pavlik was connecting with a lot of straight rights but I never really saw Taylor's head snapping back the way it should if he was getting hit square. I'll have to watch it again in a little bit, could be wrong. I was pretty disappointed Pavlik wasn't digging to the body more and really breaking him down, but I guess he knew what he was doing and saw Taylor's hands were coming down anyway.

BTW I also didn't think he was gonna make it through the 2nd round until there was about 12 seconds left, amazing that he recovered.
