The potential for the extinction of the human race has existed as long as there has been a human race, but that potential is rather low, lower than it has been for most of human history, and almost 100% related to factors other than global warming.

All your comments above don't change that fact that we don't know what the potential for extinction is under a GW scenario. So don't try to sell the notion that you know something that the rest of us don't.
