It is really difficult to ascertain the "value added" to the health system thru the insertion of a rent seeking intermediary.

Americans have been bludgeoned with this "free enterprise" meme to a ridiculous degree by those who wish to realize a profit for any and all situations the mind can conjure.

For an entity to profit by virtue of first collecting premiums and then denying contractual benefits to a sick or injured person is repugnant.

The entire concept of denial of coverage for a "pre-existing" condition is ludicrous in the contemplation of a health delivery system.

It's time for Americans to open their eyes and see the insurance cos as the vultures they are and reign them in to the benefit of all citizens.
