Rush's point was clear from the beginning. No "nuance" necessary.

Your portrayal of his remarks is the same as that given by MediaMatters.org. It's off the mark, but it fits very well within the leftist agenda.

Jon Soltz has every right to be offended, but the "offense" started to get suspicious when he unequivocally claimed to be the voice of the vast majority of Iraq veterans. There was also a convenient plug for his own website, VoteVets.org, which he cites as a source but never admitted to being the chairman of.

Of course, I'll probably get a few angry responses from the leftists here claiming that Jon Soltz is a real Iraq veteran and I'm not, so I should just shut up. Of course, the same leftists also ignore or look down upon any veterans who do support the war.
