Today I turned 40. Yesterday my bride threw an incredible intimate surprise party for me and our closest 35 friends that she had been planning since April. I never had a single clue she was working on this event. I have to admit I was excited & humbled all at the same time. Why didn't I recognize the clues that she was working tirelessly for months to make me happy? I think I was too busy trying to preserve & improve our financial life in the market & our RE investments; "I couldn't see the forrest for the trees." What did I actually net?
