Nope, you just redefined the subject again. The subject was the honor killing of a female because she marries without approval. "Dowry deaths" usually refer to disputes in which a woman is killed in a dispute over money - her family hasn't paid up, or more is demanded. It's the same thing only that a woman is killed by a close relative, but the motive is different (money instead of shame) and the killers are different (husband instead of brothers or father).
