Perhaps we were all carried away in this thread and were expecting fireworks.But how can you with constrained capacity?However they delivered.
-profit up to 39 Mill, from previous Q2 of 32,and eps up from 28,.Short of walking on water this is not bad(WITH constrained capacity )
-there was a single short there who fabbricated his own marketinf
campaign; may be Brad's bother.A new angle:merchadise sitting in retail pharmacy shelves.Why didn't this guy try and explain how can a company have record sale and earnings, 94 mill in cash, with merchandise sitting on the shelf?And Dave Yntem tried to tell him again, since Feb '97,11 that they distribute their product through wholesalers that haven't been audited!!
-nice answer to the competition: mentioned that penile vasodilatation occurs through 6-8 different mechanisms 1)Alprostadil acts in one@) 2)PFE Viagra acts through PDE5 inhibition #3 phentolamine (locally I assume since Vasomax not approved yet,) acts elsewhere; $)
VIP (Vasoactive peptide) elsewhere. Just like hypertension.Thus you need combination therapy just like hypertension, Calcium Channel blocker plus Beta Blocker plus Diuretic plus Ace Inhibitor.
- they mentioned what, 10 countries were approval is pending.
