It seems you are attempting to rationalize your current superbearish view. I sympathize, since I too am generally bearish for the short to intermediate term.

However, it's impossible to "buy at the bottom", when you got $3 trillion dollars worth of buying power waiting on the sidelines, and, what's more, that amount is increasing at the rate of a trillion or so a year.
