Al, I'll bet most servicemen and veterans out there know what Rush was talking about and won't be offended as Jon Soltz supposedly was.

I actually agree with the second part of the statement.

I don't think Soltz really cares what Rush's real point was, anyway. People who act all "offended" don't really care anyway. It's all about how they feel.

I actually agree with the first point of this statement as well for the same reason as I do the prior one. What rush spews on the air three hours a day is meaningless in the grand scheme of lost lives and the thousands coming home maimed for life, physically and psychologically. What he says is for people like you, protected by your tax paying insulation layer. Neither rush nor you ever have to feel what people like Soltz have experienced. So, yes...what the hell qualifies either he or you to comment on what people like Soltz know first hand?
