You must be new on this thread. Many of your "thoughts" reveal that you have not read the last few months' postings. I don't want to rehash it in detail, but you might find a review of the last 100 posts or so quite interesting...

Here is a very brief response:

CO2 - if the fuel cell burns pure H, no CO2. Natural gas and methanol give some CO2 but not much, way less than ICE's.

Cost effectiveness - it looks like they will be cheaper to produce than ICE's, once they hit mass production. They are intrinsically a lot simpler.

Efficiency - Fuel cells are about 2.8X as fuel efficienct as ICE's.

Oil industry - or "Energy Companies" as they prefer to be called, to emphasize that they are NOT married to oil... They will be fighting each other to capitalize on this new, lucrative energy market. It is already starting, e.g. M85...see earlier posts.

Infrastructure...see last 20-30 posts.

Profitablility - You said "There is no timeframe in the horizon when the company will be profitable" - see last 20-30 posts...BLD says breakeven by 2000, I believe.

You really think D-B invests that much $$$ in a "cover-our-butt" effort? D-B believes very strongly in this technology and its application.

Share price...yes I agree it is pretty pricey right now. However, it has lots of upside potential, IMO.

Garth.
