Gus > Russia's "latest military stuff" is worthless --just ask the Iraqis

All the Iraqis can afford are IEDs, which are home-made. How can they possibly know about the latest Russian rocketry?

> if Russia doesn't help Iran's nuclear ambitions, others will

That's what you say, but who exactly? It's all very well speculating about it but clearly the one who builds Iran's reactors incurs the West's displeasure. While I accept that Russia is a good chess-player and therefore is prepared, as you suggest, to sell Iran down the river by making nuclear plants in the hope that the US bombs them, I am far more inclined to believe that Russia's best interests are served by using Iran as a buffer or a proxy against any US attack. As you well know, the US has designs on Central Asia and therefore Russia needs all the allies it can get.
