Bruce: The annual report indicates they have set up an independent sales rep. force of more than 100 persons in the U.S. They are using distributors in Eur. and Asia. They have a distribution agreement with Smith and Nephew (based in U,K.) on a non exclusive basis outside the U.S. They say that 1300 patients have already had Bak/L (lumbar) implants. Over 100 surgeons have been trained in the U.S. and they indicate they can expand the training process quickly when they get FDA approval. They are apparently using outside manufacturers for the implants. Hope this helps. Now, can anyone help me get a feel for the number of competitors and the significance of SPYN's technology. It would be nice if we could find an orthopedic surgeon to give us a run-down on the power of the product. Regards: Cliff
