They don't receive money from Iraq. Well I guess they receive some, after all we use up petroleum products as part of our effort there, but that money is payment for receiving a good not a handout.


They directly receive a higher GM as a result of Iraq. The US is at war in Iraq to preserve oil as the primary energy source.

If we used the same $'s to move in a different energy direction, then the subsidy would obviously be for the alternatives. Why can't you admit that the Iraq war is an oil industry subsidy?
