Is anyone here still interested in GNVC.
I've just invested in the last few months, before ASCO, but I'm always interested in what others think of the company.
For now, I believe the Pivotal TNFerade trial won't have anything new to contribute until late next year when they look at more data.
While this trial is probably the company's first drug to get FDA approval, it doesn't necessarily mean it's their first revenue producer. I say this because both the work they're doing with the Navy on Malaria, or the work they're doing on Foot and Mouth Disease in animals doesn't require FDA approval.
Hopefully if the Navy chooses to give the Malaria drugs to soldiers, eventually they'll also go for FDA approval so civilians can also get the drugs.
Their work on an Aids vaccine may also bare fruit, but I believe that will take many years, though any positive data could buoy the stock.
To me this company represents the potential for explosive growth as does the other company that my other major investments are in IMGN. While I'll agree with people who say wealth should be diversified, I don't believe you diversify to much while you're trying to build it.
I'd rather put a major fraction of what I have to invest into a few stocks I think can have explosive growth, than say 5% or the money into 20 different stocks that could also have explosive growth. The odds of more than a couple of those stocks hitting is small, if I'm right about one out of two or three, it could build the kind of wealth that puts me in a position to diversify. Right now I believe GNVC has that sort of potential, and I'm willing to give it a few years to see where it goes.
Happy to hear anyone else's thoughts about it.
