HI Don,

With unit counts going up and ASP's going down - it is hard to judge where total revenue comes in for chip makers.

Hopefully chip makers will take a page out of the OPEC Cartel play book and flatline Caperx to where we have a shortage such as what is happing in NAND and prices /margins will give us the profits to justify Capex into 45/65nm 300mm fabs.

What we need is a shortage of electronics that drives demand into Q1 2008,just as Vista and Wimax gain traction.

The Halo 3 phenom is proof of how far new sectors of electronics have permeated our society.

I can feel the worm turning.

Its been a long time since tech has been viewed favorably.
