I'm not going to play any potential pop in TGEN, I had
only a token number of shares anyway and I think we
might just spend the money on a quick trip to Tahiti
or Hawaii. Gosh the weather has been lousy here in Seattle,
no thanks to global warming, ha. La Nina strikes!

Anyway, with my token amount of tgen gone, that
puts me at 98% cash instead of 97% for those keeping
score at home. Boring. More interesting were the
quad 5's I sucked out with against an ace high
flush at our poker night. Now that was sweet--the
last hand of the night and I won our little five man tourney.

Anyway, stocks, gambling: Someday I am going to see the
right stock at the right time, and I might just put 5% into
it. But I see no need for little 1% novelty positions like
tgen right now--even our 2% position in GLGC is a little small
to mean anything. Still, if GLGC is a two or three
bagger next year, that will be just fine for the kid's
accounts and I will be very pleased with myself. At
the moment, I am bored and discouraged with glgc but
I will hold it for a good six months more. This is
the time they'll turn it around, or die trying. My cost
in glgc is around $1.5

But the really important blog entry today is that
lunch is pastrami and a slice of tomato on rye bread.
