When Elway retired he bought into several metro area car dealerships and got even richer. A few years ago he sold to AutoNation, for another fortune. He also leased his name to them for a few years, for, you guessed it, more fortune. He recently ended that contract and word has it he plans to get back into the biz. He also owns the Denver Arena Football team, the Denver Crush. I've recently seen him in a commercial with Ditka for an electronics store. Didn't pay enough attention to know which one.
