...Her only complaint is that she has to hold the iPod in order to view the videos. Guess someone needs to market some sort of stand that would hold the iPod when one is watching a movie.

I thought the same thing, from watching people on airplanes and using it myself (though on short trips it's not a big deal). Usually someone else has thought about it and done something and here are some:
